The Pirate Nursery

These first few pictures are all progress pictures just to show how it was done and why it took so long!

Here's the finished product.

My friend Kelly from my old work and her husband, Rich, surprised me with this beautiful treasure chest that they made for Maverick as a present. Isn't it beautiful???

Oh my gosh Maddie that turned out amazing! What a cute room! And the treasure chest was a perfect fit. Your baby can be born now that his room is done!

What a beautiful room you have created for your baby. It is evident already how he will be loved. You are such an artist, the painting is wonderful. I love the quilt your mom made for him too. You may have heard about these, or already have them but I have a recommendation as far as pirate books...."How I Became a Pirate" and "Pirates Don't Change Diapers". Dan loves to read them with a "Piratey" voice and my kids LOVE it!!! Written by David Shannon. Can't wait to see pictures of the new boy when he comes!!!

Thanks Sarah! This was actually my first attempt at ANYTHING like this! I love the way it turned out. I sill have a long way to go in interior designing to reach your level, though. Love your house!

Hey Elizabeth!

Thank you for the compliment! This was over 2 years ago, so I'm not sure it's still available, but it's Cotton Tale's Pirate's Cove line. We found it on Overstock.com for a really reasonable price.
